A body composition app built around Relative Fat Mass — the modern metric validated against 16,000 DEXA scans that outperforms BMI. Syncs automatically with Apple Health and your smart scale.

The Science
Relative Fat Mass was developed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and validated against DEXA scan data from 16,037 adults. It uses only your height and waist circumference — no expensive equipment, no guesswork. In clinical studies it consistently outperforms BMI at predicting actual body fat percentage.
Uses height and weight only. Can't distinguish fat from muscle. A marathon runner and a sedentary person can have identical scores.
Uses height-to-waist ratio. Validated against DEXA scans. Outperforms BMI at predicting actual body fat in both men and women.

What Figura Does
If you have an iPhone, Apple Watch, or smart scale — your data is already in Apple Health. Figura makes sense of it with the metric that actually matters.
Weight from your Withings, Garmin, or Eufy scale appears automatically. No manual entry required.
Rolling averages surface real signal. Daily fluctuation is normal — Figura shows what's actually changing.
Consistency matters more than any single measurement. Figura keeps you accountable without being preachy.
Front, side, and back with pose guide overlays. Your visual record, timestamped with your RFM at capture.
Log all 11 measurement sites with bilateral support. Guidance on where and how to measure consistently.
Daily nudges, bi-weekly check-in prompts, and streak-at-risk warnings at 8pm if you haven't logged yet.
Figura has no servers. Your measurements, photos, and trends live in your iCloud — synced privately between your own devices. We can't see your data because we don't have access to it. No ads. No tracking. No selling.
